This weekend we have a complimentary Card on big FOX. We are finally getting the rematch with Dustin Poirier vs Eddie Alvarez following their first battle ended in a No Contest. These are two of the most exciting fighters in the UFC and we should see an awesome fight here. DraftKings has some adequate contests out for this particular card and I was amazed to find that a 20k top prize in their own principal tournament. That is precisely what I will be pursuing and I will be making a lot of LUs to throw to that. Here are a Couple of plays I like for Saturday and my fade of the week:
Cash Game play of this week — Stack (Dustin Poirier $8,800 AND Eddie Alvarez $7,400)
This is an easy method to start my cash LU this week and I anticipate this to be quite well known in most money game formats. These two were on pace for a top scoring fight in their first battle and I think we’ve got a simple 100+ involving the both of them here. I think that the winner of this struggle will score over 100 points and then we add all the sig strikes and other points from the loser also. But we guarantee ourselves the triumph. The only way this fight doesn’t score over 100 DK points is somebody gets kneed in the mind prohibited and the fight is stopped short….
GPP drama of this week — Hakeem Dawodu ($9,400)
I think this matchup was put up for Dawodu a triumph. In addition, I believe Islam Makhachev, who is $200 more, will probably be quite highly owned and this may be a fantastic pivot off him to differentiate your LU a bit. I really do think Dawodu will gain some good possession as well but I believe he’s a good GPP play this week. I believe the most likely outcome in this struggle is Dawodu becoming a (T)KO win. He must pay off his $9.4k salary if this is the situation, especially if it is early. He is a really good striker and we didn’t get to find out that in his UFC debut where he had been angry very early in the fight. This is the perfect fit for him to flaunt his striking and why there was a lot of hype behind him going to his introduction. I think we could see a 1st round KO here which makes Hakeem Dawodu my GPP play of this week.
Underdog drama of this week — Ion Cutelaba ($7,600)
The most important reason Cutelaba is my underdog play of this week is because there is not any way he is not scoring at least 10x if he can get the win. He has big power and could get a 1st round KO here and score over 100 DK points. If he does that with his cheap salary of $7.6k he’ll surely be in the winning lineup. This is a good fight to target either side but points per salary shrewd, Cutelaba has among those higher ceilings on the card. I don’t see this battle going to conclusion and the winner must score highly. I think if you’re making numerous lineups this weekend then you should definitely have vulnerability to Cutelaba.
Fade of this week — Katlyn Chookagian ($8,700)
I’m fading a couple of fighters this week personally, but the person I never considered using was Katlyn Chookagian. It’s not that I don’t believe she could win, since she for sure could. But I don’t see her paying off an $8.7k DK salary with a triumph. I believe we’d need a finish from her in this struggle to get 10x that salary and I believe that is very unlikely to happen. The most Chookagian has scored in a UFC fight so far in her profession is 83 DK points. That wouldn’t be sufficient here to put her at the winning lineup at her $8.7k price label. I think if you are earning 20 or less lineups this Saturday you can safely fade Chookagian and when she gets a triumph it shouldn’t hurt much.
